There are more historic artefacts under the sea than there are in all museums.
All of the world’s museums combined, the Louvre, the Smithsonian, and all the others you can and can’t name, hold less artefacts than the sea. This may not be surprising, considering that the ocean’s are so deep and vast, but just think about all of the history that we have lost. Another way of looking at this, however, is by thinking of all the history we have yet to learn. For example, is Atlantis real and where can it be found?
There are around 1000 shipwrecks in the Florida keys alone, so think of how many more there are to find. Think of all the secrets these wrecks could tell. The artefacts we could gain. Imagine if we knew what was in the Ocean and if we knew what we were missing out on.
The ocean holds many secrets and has seen many things. It has taken and given us extraordinary underwater worlds, which are beyond our imaginations.
